My congrats to them.
I've sort of been following the competition. Canada didn't so well, but, at least we won a game.
I, too, like tha All Blacks in rugby. About 30 years ago, I saw them play against Wales in Cardif Arms Park. What a great experience!

I was going to jibe in about the All Blacks not being that good anymore but as the Irish played us off the park in the Six Nations I decided against it as Alan M would just take the rip mercilessly!!  |

There was a time when the All Blacks were real men, as when Frank saw them in Cardif. They even won a World Cup. Then they became professional, and have never won a World Cup. Now they're just overpaid metrosexual gym junkies. Just my opinion, of course. |

Good to see a fellow Waikato supporter here. Yep gotta agree rugby's just not the same. I also remember going to waikato matches and watching them Roll over the British lions on tour. Then there were the Riots when Waikato played South Africa (in the aparteid era) When the stadium was flour bombed by the small plane. Yep them was the days of real rugby. I was going to jibe in about the All Blacks not being that good anymore

I remember going to a Waikato/France match when I was a school boy and watching two French guys take on a Waikato player called Bambam. They came off second best. France lost of course.

No I wouldn't call Lomu a metrosexual, certainly not to his face. Shame he got injured and never made it back, he was great to watch.
There was a guy who wore mascara when he played, and another who cried when he got whacked over the head in the pub with a handbag...and another who changes his hair colour as though it's going out of fashion...

And Foxy although it was school boy stuff. Buck also had a brother called Dean who was just as good but never really wanted his rugby to be as serious. Also if I recall during the sports/ political protests wasn't the Ring leaders name John Minto. Still miss NZ though. Sure was good times driving to the Mount to go swimming then stopping off at Mc Claren falls on the wayback to jump off the bridge above the old power station. Don't think I could do that now though Lambeater Lambeater, you played with Buck?! You famous, man!

We used to spend Christmas at the Mount when I was a lad. 3 weeks at Andersons Motor Camp. Haven't been there for years, it's like a mini Gold Coast now with high rises along the beach front.
How long has it been since you left the mighty Waikato?

SA like NZ...does not seem to have BMT....they seem to choke at the most crucial moments...Look at India...SA Chief coach (Kirsten) and SA bowling coach (Symonds)...hope they come back to the SA establishment!...but then again with all the politcal interference who knows?
Enjoying the Super Rugby though....Crusaders are looking good and what a revalation Sonny Bill Williams is to watch!
Looking forward to the Rugby World Cup.....
