MFT - My Version

My version of the MFT is shown here:  http://mikemarchwoodworking.blogspot.com/ and below.
Based on the video on HolzwerkenTV.  I still have to build and install the cabinet underneath.  Top is 3/4" black melamine sheet.
I used 3/4" holes on 4" centers.  The dogs shown are Kreg.

Zyliss Vise mounted on the Aux Table.  Work can be held at various angles for sanding and carving.

This is a great bench! The past two weeks I have been trying to find the perfect bench for me. I purchased the plans from benchworks.be for his portable MFT style tool cart and also the one from Ron Paulk. They are both good but the one you presented here will be perfect for my use with a few modifications.

Are the sketchup files available either for a fee or free?

I have both issues of the magazine (in German).  I will happy to copy or scan the measured drawings. 
My SketchUp drawing was only conceptual and would be of little help.

Thanks but that could get you into trouble. I am curious though why the build is spread between two issues so far apart from each other, can you give details on what is in each issue?

Issue 37 mostly covers the top section and spans 10 pages.

Issue 38 covers the base and drawers etc. and spans 6 pages.

No idea why it was split - it obviously didn't need to be so I guess it was a marketing thing to get you to buy two issues.

(BTW, Issue 38 also has some awesome knock-down saw benches; see )

I know this is an old thread so sorry for resurrecting it but I was curious if anyone has done a detailed SketchUp drawing of the bench in issues 37/38?  I want to build this one for sure.  I could probably modify the 21st Century Workbench plan to make it work but there are some unique features on this bench I like and don't want to reinvent the wheel.

I love your MFT. I love the end vise on the side. I wishsh I had thought of putting mine in that position. Will need to remove it and switch it, seems like it might be more practical for me as the vise always catches my festool hoses when I plonk down a rail and do some cutting with the ts55, your way they are less likely to.
