Micheal is mostly correct...table saw and router table.  I used a 45% router bit to create the V with shoulders.

I have a 52" Incra fence and multiple stops that are attached to my MFT with UHMW brackets so that it sits off the table.  I can crosscut 27-28 1/2".  I have Woodpeckers MFT square to insure that my rail is square.    (Attachment Link)

I've bought the Shop Stop and would like to mount it similarly for maximum width so thanks for sharing your solution.
