Vertical clamping for MFT
« on: June 29, 2015, 04:54 PM »
2 of these 90* jigs and you can clamp a board to them vertically on an MFT. 4 of them and you can use the MFT grid to clamp 2 boards vertically at exactly 90* to each other.

They can also be used (flat) to clamp 2 pieces at 90*.

Brilliant.  These are the same design (or maybe even the same unit) as your 90 degree clamps, yes?

Are those 20mm hex bolts you're using as dogs?

There are 2 differences - these have the 20mm holes and the corners are different on the other set - see photo - this allows clamping of any 90* joint (eg. shelves) as well as ends.

It is 20mm hex bolts that are being used as dogs.

Great design and execution on both. Hope you don't mind if I make a set of those 90s soon.
