However, I was at Menards yesterday and thought I saw a Purdy 5in1 or 6in1 tool that was in stainless.

@harry_, good question. Not sure how we can tell from the way the handle is made without maybe drilling it. I don't think it's magnetic. Maybe @Festool USA can answer that for us.

We took a look this morning, and we're honestly not sure. It appears to be a partial tang. That's the safest assumption.

If partial tang is the case, then it is not worth the $10 to me.

I like to hit them with hammers.

HARD. I think of it as 'off-label' use.

Everytime I find one I like and bring it to work, it seems that someone likes it more than me.
