Purchased a Rotex 150 and received it today but it was dead on arrival.  The motor turns on but the pad will not rotate so the unit get extremely hot and it shuts itself off.  All in a few seconds.

After waiting this long am I going to have to send it in and get it repaired and wait even longer or will they send me a working unit?  For the amount of money I am not sure I want to have it repaired and sent back.  I would rather pay the extra and get a working unit with full warranty.
