I picked up my Kapex on Friday I know not until the first right, my store wasn't aware of the rules or they didn't care. Out of the box the laser needs adjustmemt, it's very workable as it is but not spot on. Cutting small pieces proved to be a little challenging as some of them were shredded no matter how hard you had them clamped. Definitely need to add auxiliary fence, I ued 1/4" mdf, that made it a lot safer. A scrap of wood between the fence and small mouldings that aligns what you are cutting directly down from the blade instead of behind it also helps. Bevels were a nuisance, the wrench provided was too big to set the set screw to slide them out of the way. Of course, it was the only size wrench that I didn't have in my bag was the 2.5 mm that I needed. Other than those few first time things, I hope, the saw cut flawlesssly.  I set up in the dining room of a renovation project, no plastic, no zip walls, no drop cloths. The Kitchen I am working on is twelve tiles away(12'). Oh the dining room s undisturbed in the project. The saw collected better than 91% of the dust and the rest either lander on the saw or on my Sawhelper wings, nothing really on the floor, the wall that I had backed uo to, or the dining room table! Like anything, there is a learning curve, I'm still more confident with my 10 year old Hitachi ( oh,the memories) but I'm certain The Kapex will feel like an extension of my arm like all the other Festools do after a couple serious sessions with them. Have fun , be careful
