New Protool flashlight that uses Festool batteries...
« on: August 13, 2010, 01:23 PM »
Hi all,

This was just emailed to me, thought it might be of interest:

"A new product has recently landed and although its not strictly a FESTOOL product, I thought I'd let you know
about it.

Its a new PROTOOL (FESTOOL's sister company) product which we have in stock and interestingly it not only fits
all the PROTOOL BP type batteries but also the FESTOOL BPS batteries. So if you are the proud owner of a C 12
or TDK 12/15.6 or T + 3 or even the new C 12/15 LI cordless drills then your battery will power this flashlight.

Priced at a very reasonable GBP38.25 + VAT, we think this item will be very popular. Oh, by the way, its does not
come supplied with a battery.

We have it listed and available to buy right now on our and
websites, the product code is 764281."

In Holland they were introduced about two months ago, together with the depth stop chuck for the protool drills and the 18v version of the collated drywal screwgun.

I didn't order one because I like my bosch flashlight, which uses the small batteries (I have 3 of those and never use the drills they came with anymore)
