RIP Mom
« on: March 03, 2019, 05:22 PM »

While it's the natural order of the world to lose our parents, can't say it's not tough to see.

Last of the Greatest Generation in our family, she passed rather peacefully today with my sisters present.

Bob so sorry for your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Mine has been gone for almost 20 years and rarely does a day go by that I don't think of her.

Condolences Bob, it's inevitable for all of us but still unimaginable until you are faced with it personally. Good to hear she was with family & vice versa.

I too am sorry to hear of your family loss. My Dad died in July 2017, a couple of months after reaching 90 years old. I still catch myself thinking of a current topic or question for him, then realize he's gone and I can't ask him anymore.  My Mother-in-Law will be 92 in Sept. this year , and we expect her to make it easily as she's actually in fairly decent health and only takes two prescription pills a day[ when we can get her to take them]...... [wink]
My Mother is slightly younger and is hanging in there, but is weary of staying alive.
