Free, to good home, Wood Working Related publications
« on: December 17, 2018, 01:59 PM »
I am doing a LOT of house cleaning and came the realization that there is just no more room in my house so my various stashes of magazines just gotta go.   [crying] To this, I am offering almost every wood working related publication I have -Fine Woodworking, Wood, Woodworker's Journal, Shopnotes, Woodsmith, Fine Homebuilding, JLC, even some topic specific publications-, free to a good home or cause.  I even have a smattering of Men's Health and Photography magazines.

I'm guessing that I have at least 5 feet, give or take a few feet, of publications.  The only thing I ask is use them or share them, but please, do not just cull the collection and toss the rest.  If a couple-a members wish to make it a group effort of some sort, I'm fine with that, but the publications must be picked up in one visit.

I am located in Marlton, NJ and everything must be picked up once I am finished gathering everything that is going.  I should be finished sometime Christmas week.

First response gets everything.

I almost forgot, please PM me if you are interested.

Thanks.

I'm interested and not far away (Vineland) but have a huge pile of magazines myself I have been hanging on to because of projects in them I hope to undertake someday once fully retired.

Hopefully someone will be interested. Have you thought about a local library or maybe a Scout Troop would like them. I got my start in woodworking in 4H when I was very young. We met every Saturday morning at a local boatworks and the owner instructed us in the proper use of hand tools, layout, etc. We were always looking for projects to build. ShopNotes and WoodSmith have some great jigs and simple projects that are well documented plans and would make good projects for beginners.

Those are excellent ideas!

I with checked the Veterans Home down there near Vineland but, unfortunately, they had no interest.
