Makita is really upping the competition.....Flex is just about to release a cordless version of their 3401 forced rotation dual action polisher also.  I have seen a pre-production model being demonstrated but they are not quite yet available.  I had considered upgrading from my corded version, but depending on purchase pricing, the Makita may be the better option.  Thanks for posting the info.  Makita seems to be doing some very interesting things these days indeed.

I’ve been using an RO125 to polish my car. Since I’ve got a lot of Makita 18v batteries, I’m wondering if the Makita polisher would work better than an RO125?
