I just contacted Amazon, and asked them if they would be willing to credit me the difference of the 10% and they said they would no problem!  Just shows it doesn't hurt to ask.

Good for you!  Most retailers will credit you if an item goes on sale within a week to a month of original purchase.  I've gone back to Best Buy in past after they marked down a TV by several hundred dollars, no problem getting a credit.
