1400 router accessories?

I'm pretty sure I'll be adding this router to the stack soon.  My question is which accessories to go with the routher.  The guide rail stop seems like a no-brainer, but what about the edge stop?  Does having the guide stop negate the need for the edge stop?  To be honest, I'm surprised that at least one of these items aren't standard with the router kit-like on my Bosch Colt.  Thanks for your input

The 1400 is a great router, as is the 1010.

The OF1010 does come with the edge guide and the guide rail attachment, where the 1400 they are accessories. I would recommend both accessories. See Woodgeek's thread where he uses the guide rail attachment as a circle cutting jig.

Hi,

Yes, the guide rail stop is indeed a no brainer.  I have the edge guide stop. It is a very good one. Very solid.  Completely adjustable . Wide enough to easily support the router at the beginning and end of the cut. It doesn't have any of the flexing that some do. Best one I have ever used or seen.

I've got a collet for 1/2" shanks, one for 8mm. 30 copy ring whatsis. Guide rail adaptor.
