20% off Whiteside router bits at Woodcraft

Thanks. I needed to pick up some spiral bits as I learned from my previous attempt at cutting dadoes with regular bits.

[member=44099]Cheese[/member] that would also make a good slab flattening bit in a router sled.  [wink]

Have you seen any reviews on it anywhere, I'm having trouble finding one

My thoughts exactly Ron [member=3192]rvieceli[/member] ...I don't have CNC capabilities but those spoil board bits have been on my radar screen for awhile now. I really wanted one with carbide inserts because you never know what's imbedded inside a slab, minerals, silica and if you hit that stuff with a conventional bit it's toast in seconds.

Amana has a real nice selection and it has grown significantly in the last 12-18 months. They originally offered only the conventional style brazed bits

I have not seen a review of any spoil board bit with inserts, I have run across a couple of reviews on conventional brazed bits on the CNC forums.

Unfortunately WoodCraft doesn’t sell the 502 roundover set ... that would’ve been a nice deal. ;(

I know Incra occasionally runs some WhiteSide discounts on the 1/2” version of the set but probably doesn’t include the free shipping.
