20 T and 40T saw blade difference

With the 40 T blade (SawStop premium), my iVac auto vac switch kept tripping its fuse as I tried to push hard and cut some ash glue-ups that were about 30 cm thick. Once I changed to a WW II 20 t blade, it cut like butter and with no burn marks.

There would be a difference in the amperage draw. Even a so-called combination blade takes more effort than a good rip blade. Combination is just a fancy word for compromise at that point.
Most of the time, it just takes too much time/effort to swap them, so it gets neglected, until....
