Re-designed for easier access and faster connection, the new T-LOC is
the next evolution of Systainer. The T-LOC (Lock, Open, Connect)
features a single point latch that allows for easy, one-handed access with
a simple twist of the wrist.

Granat Abrasive

Introducing Festool’s all new Granat* abrasive, one that we have come to refer
to as the “Ultimate Abrasive,” due in no small part to its amazing versatility.
Though originally designed for use on solvent-based, high-VOC surfaces
(volatile organic compounds) and hard surface paints, its anti-clogging
properties are well suited for a much broader range of applications. Use Granat
not only for sanding and finishing clear coats, plastics, mineral-based surfaces, solid surface materials and acrylics, but also for wood, composites, or just about any other surface type.
A hardened aluminum oxide abrasive with ceramic grit and stearate coating,
Granat is available in grits ranging from 40 to 500 for Festool Sanders, and
from 120 to 800 in perforated roll form (see next page). A broad assortment of
pack quantities are available. For a comprehensive list of item #’s,

In addition to Granat Abrasive for Festool sanders, Festool is introducing an all-new Soft Sheet
Abrasive format, an excellent solution for delicate, detail sanding, and even for coarse sanding in
areas that can be reached only by hand.
This Soft Sheet format features a foam backing, preventing scratches in delicate surfaces that normally result from uneven pressure common to un-backed, folded, or jagged edged paper. An innovative perforation cuts through the paper, but not the foam, allowing you to cleanly tear a sheet from the roll, which comes packed neatly in a cardboard dispenser.
Use the Soft Sheet abrasive for hand sanding round edges, delicate shapes and curves, or for more coarse sanding in hard to reach areas. Based on the incredibly versatile Granat abrasive, use the Soft Sheet Abrasive on virtually all paints, clear coats, fillers, and even wood surfaces.
