Hey there I was just wondering what’s with the folding and round design of the 204386 6-piece bit holder? I was thinking maybe it fit around something or maybe it’s just so they can stand upright? What do you guys think?
This is just the manufacturer's (Wera) design which has been around since like forever, for those buying/using Wera bits/products. It used to be called the "Mini Check"
It seems Wera is switching over to this design now though, for the "Minis": https://toolineo.de/wera-bit-check-7-tx-diamond-1-7-teilig-p!100000000093550.html?h=0000106&chn=gads&utm_medium=cpc&utm_source=google&cpkey=uhmGdn0rnLyQKTZUyJi0HVqvdSZ1FWDao_KUZC1JzJQaKS2CSYod0bNBMhIFTGIq&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIp8_f_eXF6gIVDNiyCh3k-Q5jEAkYCyABEgL_SvD_BwE
And since North American Wera msrp is usually two to three times that as Europe and the UK, Festool is only charging you way too much for those bits instead of way way too much.
[member=61712]six-point socket II[/member], for a laugh, head to a us webstore like KC Tool and check out specifically what Gedore, Hazet, Stahlwhille and Wera are going for...on sale even. Keep in mind that this is before tax (exc. vat). Wiha (even before they went to Vietnam) and Felo are not so bad, thankfully.
