Well, after all of your advice and recommendations, I went and handled the T and C 15 and T and C 12. The C models were foreign feeling to me--so I thought maybe some time in the future.

The CXS is probably the coolest, most ergonomic drill on earth. Loved it!!

But the one that felt the best in my hand was the T12. I think it will be all that I need for some time to come. the size, weight, and power feel fantastic.

I played around with it yesterday after getting it, just doing little mods to my kids' treehouse. What a blast! It's like a sports-drill! My previous drill was a 12 V Ryobi.... I don't need to tell you what a difference there is in feel and performance. Very inspiring.

I'll keep you guys updated and thanks again.

Great to here that you like it !  Did you get the set with the extra chucks?  They are really good to have. I was building a kitchen sink base unit (special one not a basic base cabinet) this  week and used the eccentric several times. Everytime I used it I thought 'how did I  live without this'  [big grin]

Congrats -- it is a great tool for sure.  I find I use all of the chucks and agree with Seth that I never knew how I did without -- a lot of stripped/cammed out heads as I tried to drive them in at a odd angle or the time I got my regular check too close to an edge and cut a nice groove in the plastic sleeve  [eek]....now those are things of the past.

So what's next on your list?  Festools are like chips -- you can never have just one  ;D!
