36-32mm 3.5 antistat hose

Hey guys,

Recently ordered what should have been a 36mm antistatic ct hose but when I actually came to use it I noticed it actually reduces in size to 32mm tool end.

Now what benefits are there in it reducing before I take it back? If it gives it better suction then I'll keep it but if 36 straight is better I would return it as it's not what I asked for. This is attached to a ct midi with an of2200 and tsc55.

The new tapered hoses have (I believe) replaced the old non-tapered ones. Apparently the taper increases airflow somehow (?) and makes it more flexible on the tool end.

Used one of the smaller 27-22mm tapered hoses the other day, can't say I was especially impressed. Difficult to say how it compared to the old 27mm hose without using both side-by-side, just didn't seem particularly great.
