Just saw this accessory thanks to Peters great OF1010 video. On the Festool site and Amazon, the picture shows two different style hoods. On Toms site (tool-home.com), it shows one. Can someone please advise what is actually included currently for this item in the USA. THANKS!

OK, now I see the item on the left in the pic with two guides is the Festool 489427 Parallel Edge Guide For OF 1010 Router

Perhaps a picture change is in order on the Festool site!  ;)

Apologies, I'll update the image.

Here's what it looks like as shipped.

15 minutes and a reply, with photo, from Shane - AMAZING! Thanks Shane-

... AND the Festool website is updated too!

As long as we're talking about pictures for OF1010 accessories, was wondering why the pciture for guide bushing adaptor (469625) shows a metallic version, but the actual one included with the 1010 is plastic?  I know that in the description it says that the OF1010 version is "non-metallic", but is there any other router that this model fits?  All the other Festool routers have different product codes for their adaptors (though looks like same picture).

The one shown is actually for the OF 1400, not the OF 1010.  It's just the wrong picture.

I looked and don't see that we have a photo specifically for 469625. In some cases, because of the lack of photography for a specific product, we use one that's supposed to be representative of the product.

I'll check tomorrow and see if I can find a better photo of that product since there's definitely a substantial difference between metal and plastic. Sorry.

While we're at it, that parallel edge guide no longer comes with it's chip guard.
I just had to order one, seperate for $10.  :/

But here's the kicker: it comes with the guide rods.  So, now I have two sets of those, and an incomplete parallel edge guide (not counting the micro-adjuster that has always been seperate).

When you finally get all of the 1010's parallel edge guide together....it costs more than the way beefier one for the 1400.  [eek]
