A bridge for the mother in law

This was, I'm ashamed to say, a Christmas request that I just now got around to doing. There was a bridge in a bad state out in the woods that she asked if I could do something about. If I had to guess it's a tenth of a mile away from the house. That doesn't sound like much until you've carried all the materials and the heavy sections out there to put it together. I built the platforms at the house and carried those alone. I probably should've asked for help. I'm feeling it today.

It isn't professional by any means but I think she will be happy with it for many years to come.

Good job!  You don't have to tell me that pressure treated lumber is heavy.  Nice mitzvah.

In this case, mother-in-law points out-weigh any other considerations.  Good job, and I hope you get your favorite pies for your birthday (perhaps a month or two late) for many years to come.

My brother once gave me a calendar for a Christmas present - the next September.
