I once bought a sports jacket made from 100% bamboo. It was meant to look and feel like a tan cashmere jacket. It was very nice and a good effort to mimic cashmere.

And rayon is made from wood pulp. Both the bamboo and rayon versions are considered “luxury fabrics”.

If you wear a bamboo suit and your wife wears a rayon dress, you can go on a “carpenters’ date night”.
