This is a video of me making a tenon jig in under two hours. It is made from Baltic birch and just screw and a Rockler clamp. Check it out.
I have been making these jig and need to upgrade and this one does the trick real well. Hope you all enjoy the video and tell me what you think.

I used a similar setup like that for years.

Mine didn't straddle the fence though, since I had a unifence, and then an Incra fence setup. Instead I just made a big block (3 layers of ply) with a another attached to the side for the piece to register against. Then it just rode against the fence. I cut it to precisely 7" wide to make math easy on the fence positioning. With the Incra this approach is awesome since you can fine tune your tennons by the 1000th of an inch.

Then I got the Leigh FMT and eventually the domino, so it didn't the make the move out here.
