On another FOG section we have been discussing use of a shop low velocity DC system with the Kapex. My own new shop has a modern high volume low velocity characteristics. I use that below and behind a Kapex, with a CT22 hooked up directly to the Kapex.
I have been thinking, which according to my kids is not always such a good thing.
What if there was a device that discharged to a high volume DC system? It would contain a high velocity blower, similar to that of a CT vac. Because it discharges only into the main DC system, it would not need its own HEPA filters nor even an internal bag. I picture it as similar to a powered cyclone.
Chances are this device would also be a big help on shop router tables.
