Hi,

In reference to the Holden Maloo that you mentioned you desire in another thread -

Enjoy

Obviously you'd need to invest in a pair of high quality driving thongs ...

Hey[member=13058]Kev[/member] where you aware that in Spain it is a fineable offence to drive in toe thongs or flip flops. Was causing accidents especially with Brits on holiday there [eek] [big grin]

'Finally, we found something we thought might be illegal – but were glad to find common sense has prevailed and is not an offence.

Driving barefoot is OK in both NSW and Victoria. In fact, some road safety experts advocate it, especially if the option is thongs or high heels.'

This vehicle is what you get when you let automobiles evolve on an isolated island.

I'm all for high heels and thongs in the right context [big grin]

Now THATS what I'm talking about! Here, a two seater with only rear drive is just about extinct.

I wanted an El Camino when I was younger, maybe I'll find one.

Ironically I have a friend here in Sydney that's probably looking to sell his.

Not to leave out the Kiwi cousins would be the concept of "more Jandal"... ;)

Shipping would be a killer I'm afraid.

We got a couple rebadged Holdens here, the Commadore and Monaro as the Pontiac G8 and GTO respectively, but the Maloo never made it. What a shame. I'd like a G8 for a family car, but since there is snow on the ground 4 months out of the year in my little mountain valley, I'm afraid a rear-wheel drive car is out of the question.

[size=13pt]If we are talking politics rather than cars; wrong party for me and wrong state.

To all Aussies; at the Federal Election polling booth today don't forget to vote
[size=18pt] and vote often!  [smile] [big grin]
