Hi to all,

The idea trotted me for some time: use the famous step stool beech "BEKVÄM" from Ikea as a support type work table "MFT".

On Sunday afternoon, I got into it.  [cool]

So I, of course, included the concept of Festool MFT table, while also inspiring me what Timothy Wilmots (http://www.benchworks.be) is with its box "MF-TB ", and lately the SYS-MFT by Festool.

The idea is simple: use a small footstool Ikea (sold $14.99) and give him a few holes in order to attach Festool clamps.

And it works perfectly !

Finally, this is a project that could be improved. I appeal to your opinions and suggestions ! ;)

Great idea!
I think I'm going to rip of your idea so I'll have a mini MFT at the cottage. I'll maybe put a small drawer under the top to store the clamps.

As a side note: "Bekväm" means "Comfortable" in Swedish. I'm not sure I would agree on the term for this chair though :)

Thank you for your support !  :)

Indeed, the "folding" version is not bad but it does not seem to completely withdraw which still limits the interest..  :-\

Do not hesitate if you have other ideas to improve the concept !  ;)

taller & more top surface area would be ideal ,
I think I'm gonna get the  small footstool Ikea (sold $14.99) anyway
you can't make one yourself that cheap figuring your own time as money

Excellent idea!  I also like the idea of adding a drawer underneath.  Does Ikea suggest a maximum capacity rating?
