This is a project that just didn't want to happen. Nothing seemed to work as it should. Anyway, I gave my wife a coffee cup warmer for her desk at work and decided she needed a cabinet to keep it in. This is the result.
Its made of Surian ( a red cedar), with a bookmatched Black Walnut door and Peruvian Walnut handle and trim. Finished with the ETS150/3 up to 4k grit, then waxed.
Not my best, but a little different.

Regards,

Rob

In the immortal words of the cabdriver, from the Curious George movie,

"Now that, I haven't seen before!...........................But now I've seen it".

What, no little vents to let the java steam out? You're slipping Rob.

Nice Dovetails. Leigh jig I presume?

Hi Eli,
Leigh DT's they are.
At your suggestion, I put some drill holes at the top of the back panels. You're right, I was having a "Senior Moment".
Here's another pic after a second coat of wax and buffing with a Swansdown mop. Love this ETS!

Regards,

Rob
