A5 Basis with a OF 1400

Hello FOG,
I have tryed the search function and couldnt get a direct result and im sure this has been ased before.
I have an old Basis A 5 with an old OF 900 and i would like to upgrade to 1400 for more power and 12 mm bits.
Can i clamp the 1400 in the base?
