Hello, been consulting the site for a while but finally came up with a question the search function didn't answer.

I have one old bathroom left in my house, after tearing the other two I honestly don't want to do it again, specially since now the house is furnished. So I wanted to see which festool abrasive will work best with my Rotex 125 to remove the glaze from the tile. We are talking about the very common square tile of the early 80's, around 4"x4", usually seen in white or yellow.

Thanks in advance.

First welcome to FOG, Next I would try Granat as the paper choice, it a great all around paper and doesn't clog up under load.
I would image other will pipe in with advise also but that's my choice to start.

welcome to the fog.

i think i would try saphire or crystal or granat. .
saphire is for really hard materials

why do you want to remove the glaze.
are you going to paint it

I wouldn't bother. Just degrease, get the right primer and use a tile over tile adhesive.
