This accomplishes two things on the CT36 and WCR1000 setup. First by not using the CT36 outlet for constantly plugging and unplugging tools this will make the outlet last much longer before it might wear out as some people have observed. I found a quality metal cased surge suppressor outlet strip and plugged it into the CT36 outlet once. Then I found the proper sized hardware and affixed the surge strip to the upright support column on the WCR1000. Now I can conveniently have more than one tool plugged into the CT36 power and trigger the unit with the different tools that I am using at the time. All one has to remember is to switch the dust collection hose between the tools and viola works like a champ.
