Adjustable shelf pins

Which shelf pins are y'all using these days (for kitchen cabs, closets, etc.)?  Doing 5mm with the LR32 or using a different size router bit? 

Economy pins with notches in your shelves?

The flattened pins with the shelf resting on it?  Sleeves - yes/no?

What are your favorite supports for glass shelves?

I'm usually a Lee Valley kind of guy (and they have a ton of options in this category) but just wondering if there's anything else out there worth knowing about.

For exposed shelfs I use Brusso brass pins and inserts.

They fit perfectly and look nice on dark woods like walnut or mahogany.

I like these metal-shelf-pin and the one with the blocking pin. They fit the 5mm hole better than the clear plastic ones with the metal post.

I don't use the pins that need sleeves unless there is a structural (heavy load) or decorative need.

Thanks guys.  Man, those Brusso ones are expensive (as are all things Brusso).  I'm sure they are super nice...probably overkill for a kitchen, but I'm sure they'd look fabulous on a dark bookcase/wall unit.

Most cabinet manufacturer uses those clips
You can get them in different finish
My experience with the sleeves is that you may have to drill an oversize hole for the sleeve to go in
And sometime they are a BH to pull  them out
I like to keep it simple.  5mm holes with standard clips

I really prefer the lee valley flat pins with the matching inserts.  Beau coup bucks though, a bit much for some clients.

    Those Brusso and Lee Valley are nice, but at an additional $12 - $20 per shelf I would be inclined to reserve them for nice finished bookcases.

    For most cabinets and painted shelf units I have been using the Blum 5mm supports. They come in a variety of colors , are quite compact and seem to hold well. I also like that the keeper tab between the end of the shelf and the case side is very thin.

I like to use matching wood dowels or contrasting metal ones. I tend to use off the shelf with the less expensive unitso like build.
