After market dust bags

  I have the festool kapex and sometimes I can't always have my festool dust extractor available.  I would love to find a dust bag of some sort to fit over the dust port on the kapex?  I am talking about the miter saw.  To be more clear, I am looking for a larger type bag or possibly like another tools dust bag that's large enough to handle a days work....

A bag from an ETS 125 will fit correctly on the diameter. However look at the photos below and 2 items are obvious.

The end of the Carvex has a .400" extension on the end which doesn't allow the receptacle on the bag to fully seat properly. It would need to be trimmed off.

The vac extension on the Carvex extends straight out the rear while the vac extension on the ETS 125 is angled. So if you put the bag on the Carvex, the bag/frame raises the base of the Carvex at the rear by 1/8"-3/16". But it certainly could be modified with a heat gun if you really need that bag option.

I thought the dust port on the Kapex was the same size as the one on the TS55. At least the 27&36mm hoses seem to fit the same way on each.

There for, the dust bag for the festool planer should fit onto the back of the kapex?

Years ago I bought bought a dustbag that was meant for the smaller festool planer intended for that purpose... But we measured wrong (they didn't have a kapex in the store back then, and I only quickly tried to measure at home with ruler instead of calipers.

So, only thing I can say is the bag for the ehl65 won't fit, the one for the HL850 MIGHT fit, but I wouldn't buy it unless you can try it on for size in the store. (Maybe someone who has the bag for the HL850 and a kapex can try)

That would be perfect but as you say may not fit.  Bosch makes a bag also but have to get measurements of both.  Or this one from festool?

I had a bunch of bags from PC, Ridgid and Bosch, so I tried them all.

The best I can do is Bosch table saw bag, with a Festool adapter. I think Bosch has the same adapter just a little cheaper.

But anyway, it wouldn't be ideal, as Kapex dust collection is designed for vac hook-up, the channel of the air path is very flat and narrow.
