Air cleaning, MaxVac

Anybody used the MaxVac air scrubbers?
Not sure what size i need for a 5 x 5 mtre workshop?
Would appreciate any feedback re air cleaning / filtering?

Just curious, but with modern dust collection, why do you need a scrubber?

Hi Birdhunter, am looking at taking more care of customers, and myself. No manufacturer can give 100 per cent dust free! Although Festool are good the range is limited! No cordless extraction or planer etc, means other methods have to be used, its also the dusts that pass through lower rated extractors that can be the most damaging! And although the filters are ok, they are not hepa 14 rated! I know they are looking power pak etc but cost is far too high!

[member=6538]toolbob[/member] - a web search produces zero results for the MaxVac Dustblocker DB300 (likewise, neither the manufacturer's website or facebook page mention this product). That said, I'm intrigued. Is this a brand new but not yet released product? Some more info would be great.

Somehow, I cant imagine this unit cleaning anything but the air immediately around it.
