Two alcove wardrobes. Just over a week to finish, always under estimate finishing times.
Birch ply carcasses sprayed with Morrells WB clear lacquer. Face frame and doors are popular with Birch panels, WB primer and WB pigmented lacquer. Drawers are on blum under mounts soft close and decided to do some domino work on the front. Scribes were a pain, one side was out by 25mm over 2m, terrible considering the wall had been dabbed with PB and skimmed. Skirting boards need another coat to finish.
Dislike handles and position...customer eh!?

Putting a quote in for this at the weekend to replicate similar. Looks fantastic.

Beautiful work.  Doing something similar for my master closet will put up photoos when installed.  Thanks for sharing.  Bill

You could go with much smaller diameter knobs, or even metal knobs, in the same position if you or your customer wants to change the look without needing to repair any holes.

I like the idea of making the front of the wardrobes come out from the wall so that the inside of the wardrobe being partially in an alcove is larger than the outside of the wardrobe.

Looking really nice, more classy handles would have really set it off, maybe something in chrome or black, I've never been a big fan of bare wood handles on painted surfaces, sort of cheapens the overall look. Your work is sharp though.

Wardrobes look great but yes knobs are too big and in the wrong place on top doors.

Regarding the TV shelves you are pricing for, I made some TV shelves a while ago in walnut, the solid walnut cost about £3000 cubic meter, you don't get much for your money!

The wardrobes looks good but I agree with the comments on the knobs.

Would you mind posting some more build pictures of the wardrobes?

Sorry didn't take more of the construction process. :(.
Essentially, all sprayed flat before assembly. Had all sheet goods cut to size, for me from a brilliant company called Avonplywood who offer a full cutting and lipping process and have CNC if required. Sheet goods cut within .2mm accuracy and it goes together perfect.
Pocket holed on the sides to take faceframe. Flat packed to get into the house and assemble in their bedroom.
Lower wardrobe first, then attached faceframe, top box slid on top and attached to faceframe. Slid into alcove, tight up against the chimney breast. Scribed filler on outer side and a return panel back to the breast. FF is 36mm wide, which then allows for 18mm carcass and 18mm panel.

Knobs just placed on for a photo to send to customer.

Great build!  I like the domino drawers never seen them done in front. I understand why u had to as u have no drawer front. How much does the plywood company charge for the pre cut and lipped?  Thanks for posting

All sheet goods for this build, £527 including vat. 18mm carcass and shelves, 9mm backs and door panels and 15mm drawer sides. I really wouldn't do it any other way. No lifting heavy sheets, sand, spray and assemble having total confidence in the materials. They even allow .6mm when cutting for the lipping/edging.

Looks excellent.

Those out of plumb walls are always fun.  I think you did a great job with the scribe.
