Anyone get a chance to work with one of these beauties? I remember the day this bugger arrived at the shop and the technician set it up for us. We were too busy drinking beer to actually try and cut anything with it but all equally impressed with not only the machining of the device (the key to the electrical panel is also a purposely built church key/beer opener) but the bottle of strange European liquor that cam with it. I thought to myself, "man, these guys know wood workers".

This video's not too exciting but I'm positive the F45 could slice a salami cleanly at 1/128th increments.

Yeah, they are pretty spiffy....I was fortunate to win one a few years back and
it is truly a work horse...Mine has a ten foot stoke which has solved more than
one problem.  So, the bottom line is, if someone gives one to you, Take It!

Em, hold up there !  Win one  [eek]

How the heck did you manage that ?  What do they retail at ?  They are lovely bits of engineering.

Woodguy.

I think they start at around 30 grand......I can't afford one. Winning one is certainly a prize! there are numerous upgrades for it as well such as a computer controlled rip fence.
Glad I got to use one at least, nice machine.
