Alternative foam pad for RTS 400?

Looking for third party squishy foam interface pads for my RTS 400. The OEM pads I've bought for my ETS 125 have all torn within the first few uses so I'm not in a hurry to spend another $30 to see if the RTS pads are any different.

(I do have SurfPrep pads and they're great, but I need something more abrasive that SurfPrep's "medium.")

Have a look at the interface pads if you use Mirka Abranet mesh. You could use as many as you like to soften or harden the pad.

Update: sticking hook & loop paper to a used surfprep pad with a little spray adhesive works great. The paper sticks well enough for sanding but peels off easily when it’s time to replace.
