Aluminum Flashing To Vinyl Adhesive Recommendation

I have exterior windows that are dark green vinyl coated which the sun has faded. Would like to form and adhere aluminum coil flashing to the outside to cover the faded portions. Probably will nail as well but would like to reduce the amount of nailing. Climate is northern midwest US. Does anyone have adhesive recommendations?

3M 5200 is my favorite for can-not-fail situations.
But you might want to take a deep dive into what else 3M has for your application. They make some really fine products, and they are not the cheapest. But doing it right the first time is a wonderful thing.
