All,
As some of the forum members who have been around for many years may recall, I began my relationship with Festool a decade ago when I was hired as an employee of a Festool dealer. I found myself drawn to the passion of the Festool brand to create products that are the best-in-class, as well as the passion of our customers.
During my tenure as a Festool employee, I have been afforded the opportunity to help promote and grow the brand and to be a part of what Festool represents. My role at Festool has made me realize how much I enjoyed the gratification of being involved in direct sales. Consequently, I have decided to move back into a role where I continue to support the Festool brand, but in a way that I can be involved in direct sales again. For that reason, I am announcing that I will be taking the next step in my career as the Director of Ecommerce for Tool Nut on April 1st.
I cannot adequately express my gratitude for the opportunities given to me during my time with Festool and cannot say enough about the amazing team of people who I call friends and colleagues. My sincere appreciation goes to Christian and many others at Festool who have believed in me and helped me grow in my career.
I look forward to the opportunity to continue to be a part of the Festool community and the FOG moving forward, just in a different capacity.
Now, back to talking about tools... [big grin]
