Another Felder BF 7-41 question...

Well, I still haven't figured out how the router setup works on my Felder BF7-41. The supposed router belt seems too small, I can't begin to close the belt tensioner on the router spindle but have another question.

Can anyone tell me how this arbor works? You would think you would just remove the Allen bolt, loosen the set screws and then spin the big nit off. Well that doesn't seem too work. The big nut just spins and doesn't seem to want to come off so I can change cutters.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks!

I have a Felder 731 and there are two different belts, one for the moulder another for the router spindle. Also the spindle has a pin to lock.

Thanks, aware of the pin and the supposed router belt seems way too small (just ordered from Felder). The pulleys don't seem to line up to use the "high speed spindle".

The arbor in the picture is one I haven't used yet.  Does the big nut screw on the shaft?

Thanks again.

Greg, Away from workshop presently so I will have a look when I get back. Presume the spindle is seated fully, maybe worth posting this problem on Felder Owners Group, lots of helpful well informed members there, similar to this forum. Good luck.

Yes, it is fully seated. Any idea on the 3/4 arbor I posted a picture of? It is totally different than my other two.
Thanks!
