another kapex down

I tried to post a video but wrong format. I will work on that. One of the trim crews kapex (about 3 months old)  went haywire today. The saw when plugged into the ct on auto would go on by itself and only go off when unplugged. It did the same when plugged directly into a regular socket. Talk about scary.

At least it didn't burn up and stopped working, seems like they're nearing a solution to that problem

Festool service will fix it.

That'd be a switching issue methinks.  Never heard of that one before...  Dust or swarf jamming mechanism?  Residual water in switchgear?

What's really weird is that there's failsafe interlocks to circumvent inadvertent startup.
