Dear FOGgers,
As a more senior hobbyist looking down both barrels or retirement and old age, I am on a quest to keep my brain active by taking on new challenges and learning new skills.
One challenge I have set myself is to start a kind of video diary which I am posting on the inter webs on YouTube.
I have started with a scrap wood project (of which I seem to do a lot! haha!). I am treating the project seriously but trying not to take myself too seriously in the process. Self-deprication is the order of the day as far as I am concerned. I am a hobbyist - and a new one at that - but I believe that I am not devoid of some skill. A good outcome is always what I am aiming for even if sometimes I have to accept it not being quite as good as I had hoped.
I would be pleased as punch if you would like to check it out and - if you like what you see - give it a like, drop a kind (or critical! ) word of encouragement and subscribe to see how the project progresses. (in all honesty I am approaching the end right now and it's not looking too bad

Heads up, sometimes I tend to be a bit wordy but I am fighting with this and the videos improve with each new installment.
