I have to prepare a long deck railing for repainting.  It is a standard-type 2x4 top and bottom rail, notched -- into which 2x2 square balusters fit, spaced +/-4" apart.

Wondering which sander would be best for the balusters -- the LS 130 with the extension pad, or the Deltex.  Thoughts?

Thanks

Dave

Dave,

If I understand correctly that you want to remove the paint from the balusters and that they're about 4" apart...

I have both the LS130 and the Deltex.  Without hesitation, I vote for the Deltex for this job.

Dave,

I second the Deltex.
