Untill this week, we in this area of Australia have had little rain since Christmas. This past weekend however 27mm fell on our property. Not drought ending, but still very welcome.
With rain, ants often look for dryer habitats. Yesterday I entered the Untidy Shop to charge some Makita Batteries. I noticed an ant trail leading to the charger and not continuing beyond. Surface spray cut them 'off at the pass'. Then I spent over thirty miniutes vacuuming and tapping ants and eggs out through every air vent and other orrifuss of the charger! [eek] [eek]
All good now.
