hi all can anyone with a k3 winner table saw tell me what the outside dimension of the base of the saw is which sits on the floor please?

I'm being no help at all .. I measured the base of all of them just before Christmas when I visited the showroom, but dropped the notion as I was being seduced by the Felders [embarassed]

I vaguely recall something like 1100x700. I do remember kicking myself hard when I realised how compact it actually was relative to the extended CMS TS75 setup that cost nearly the same price. Add the mobility kit and it's a far better option if your gear stays in the shop!

Cheers Kev, I have already bought the unit from a used woodworking machine co. Thats why I'm after the dimensions as I'm wanting to have some mobile bases made with castors on each corner for better manoverabillity in my small space, as the hammer wheel kits are good but don't give the best mobility in small spaces. I'l give them a call tomorrow and ask them to measure it for me but if anyone has a one and could measure it today that would be great too  [wink]

The company I'm buying it off got back to me today and they said 760x960mm and Felder also confirmed the sizes, thanks for the input guys

Glad you didn't go with my numbers! [eek]

Agree on the Hammer mobility kit .. these machines should come with a hover feature [big grin]

I think the size you had in mind might be the actual table size, lol that would be nice the Hammer wheel kits are limited in there manoverabillity in smaller spaces I have them on p/t and band saw at prescient but am going to get some bases made up with 4 castering wheel for the k3 and p/t
