Hello all,

I am just wondering if anyone knows of a UK dealer with good stock that will open and split packs of Abrasives.
i.e: Sell me 25 of one grit and 25 of another and still charge the price of a 50 pack.
(125mm sanding discs is what I'm talking about)

It's seems some of the US dealers do this, so I am just wondering if anyone offers this in the UK?

Cheers.

Thanks for the supper fast response Johnny!  I am aware of the 10 packs and I do often buy them.

It would just be great to be able to take advantage of the 50pack £ savings with a little more flexibility, even just halving packs would be great.  I just never seem to have enough abrasives. . . .  [smile]

I have the same issue - would love to just buy a 50 pack of everything I think I'll need, but I like to spend money on new tools, not consumables! Never mind the storage space I'd need... [eek]

I bought some smaller quantities off of ebay at reasonable prices for my RO90.
My local guy, engineering agencies, sell them out of a box and just charge per disc based on the box of 50. So if it's £25 a box you're paying 50p each even if you just want one. But that's just over the counter and the stocks not always great. So it's probably no help  [tongue]

We use Kernow fixings for all our sundry products. They have split packs of paper in the past and even made sample packs for me but we do spend £££££ with them every month.

Can't hurt to try thou! The number is 01726 624600 and ask for mark.

I buy the 50 - 100 packs, I'm going to use them anyway so buy volume and save a few quid

Me too as it's the same issue here in Oz. Plus you'll find that you mainly go through a volume of 3~4 specific grits mostly, so you may as well save on those!

I found a guy on eBay from the UK that did that and they were good packs but since eBay updated I can't seem to find him for you  [sad]
