Anyone use a Sys Roll in a van?

I have about 12 +/- Systainers that I’d like to store in my Transit Connect.  I was all ready to buy a shelving system and just stack the Systainers as they best fit.  I also have a Sys Roll, so I thought I might be able to just stack 5-6 on that, then secure the Sys Roll to the sides of the van.

Does anyone else do this? I’m a little concerned that I’ll need so much extra strapping to keep everything from splilling over that it would be better to just use shelves?

Thoughts? Thanks!

I don’t do it but was seriously considering it.  The reason I didn’t do it was because I can’t create segregated stacks that make sense for what I may do.  If you can group the Systainers so that you don’t have to rearrange from stack to stack than this approach might work for you.

I carry a Sys Roll in the back of my pick up.  I run a strap around it to keep it from rolling around, works well for me.

[member=66098]HandyDen[/member] - there is a proven way of doing this using shopbuilt plywood Systainer carts of the type we just published plans for on our website www.tsoproducts.com
I'm traveling right now but will post more details when I get back to the office early next week.
