Anyone use Makita batteries in DeWalt DW620 router?

I have a Makita battery trim router, and then a mid-power Bosch plugged router as well as my big old Porter Cable 3HP router in a table. Thinking about the new mid-level battery routers, there's the DeWalt DW620 and a new Makita XGT.
I'm on the Makita 12v and 18v platforms, but am not ready to go for their 40v XGT platform, even though that router is supposed to be pretty good.
The DeWalt is their 20/21 volt (really same as 18v) line, and while I'm not going to start a DeWalt platform, I'm thinking I could run one of those battery adapters to put my Makita batteries on the DeWalt router.

Anyone try this? Yeah, I know the warnings about overheating and such, but I'm a home woodworker and not able to put in heavy use anymore anyway.

And I know I should probably bite the bullet and get the OF2200, but between money and weight I'm not ready to go there yet.

DeWalt is one of the few tool brands I haven't got batteries for, but that router and the faux-Grabo are tempting. My style would be to just get a stock battery or two. Looking online I see that people make adapters. I guess I'd be more concerned about the router getting "tippy" with such a stack on top.

I've been a Makita 18V LXT guy since 2005 but recently purchased a DeWalt hammer drill since Makita didn't offer the anti-twist technology in the 18V line.

During my decision to switch I found you can find adapters to use popular batteries on other tool lines. Think for under $20 you can get a Makita 18V battery to DeWalt 20V tool. Looks like it adds about an inch to the battery height.

Yeah, that's what I'm thinking of doing.

This after trying some US-made Titan batteries that work great in all my Makita tools, and just recently taking a flier on some eWork batteries, of which 2 of the 3 I tired work great (with the 6AH eWork putting out more oomph on my leaf blower than from my 6AH Makita battery), although the Makita charger won't charge them, which is drag.

I don't have experience with using Makita cordless with DeWalt batteries, but I when my old 1990s-era DeWalt 18v batteries finally started to get wonky, I got the new 20v batteries and got both DeWalt and Amazon 18v to 20v adapters and still use them today with my old reciprocating saw and 5 3/8 circular saw with no issues.

I would presume that using the adapters to mate the Makita batteries to DeWalt would meet with good results.
