Just ordered one. Since I seem to have problems with dust nibs, I hope this can be part of my arsenal. Any thoughts?

I create my own. Have been for years. I use them to knock down touch up paint on automobiles.

Single edge razor blade, hold at 45º angle to a piece of 1200-10,000 grit sanding cloth, drag the blade backwards once and only once against the cloth, this will create a 1200-10,000 grit burr on the edge of the blade, gently and slightly bend the blade so the burr is proud. Back drag the burr across the high spots. Works very well.

I also use a pencil sander.

I used to use glass laboratory slides, you have to use a very gentle tough or you break them but the edge is very sharp and you get very clean curls.  My heavy handed method used to break too many slides so, I went to a different approach.
