The triangle between to 2 cabs. Open fixed shelfs or shelfs and 2 small doors?
It's a peninsula for a clients kitchen. Will have seating overhang to the finished panel side. Doors on open side.

What about a set of doors, then inside the quad, a surge arrester power strip and perhaps a network jack fed by Cat6 and a phone jack?  I'd cut a hole above for a grommet, too.

I have installed these in my office and kitchen before.  Very nice.  I didn't buy them from the link i sent, but the place I did buy them from is no longer in business.

I also think doors but my real question is how did you affix the cabinets to that concrete ceiling? New masonry bit for the domino XL???

could do a small light and a niche.  women go nuts for niches...she could put an art piece or a fancy glass vase up there and have it spotlit?

I am with Alex on the single angled door.  Tom, I would go to them with 2 proposals and ask for their input.  Are they the type to want a USB/Power hub to charge things and use the power for a blender at a party?  Or would they like a fancy nook to highlight a vase or some other art.

If it was me... I would go for an embedded ant farm, or lava lamp.  But I like "eclectic"... ;)

good luck, I am sure it will turn out very nice!

I'm leaning towards glass bottom, 2 glass shelfs. The area will be left open. I may use light green glass and LED chip the the inserted edges so they glow. If not, an LED light source from above. If I do decide to use glass I'll remove the horns.

Bryan, no proposal needed. She had a few very specific requests that I had to meet. Other than those I do as I feel. She does not even know she's getting a peninsula. She does not know which brand/model appliances I picked, as long as it is an electric stove and the refrigerator has a water filter she's good with what ever I pick. This is her lake home, once we start on the demo she won't see it until I'm done. For dollars there is a "will not exceed budget". She called yesterday and told me she now wants a glass tile back splash and knows that is over and above the budget number.
