Bringing an old thread to life..... Can anyone assist as to where to buy this Systainer? Just finding out about it today and cannot for the life of me find it anywhere online. Thx.....

Welcome to the forum!  [smile]

It's available in the USA google "Systainer Lid compartment"  for the Tanos version It will bring up the current gen 3 style. For T-Loc you will likely have to find it on the secondary market. The Gen 3 and T-Loc are compatible though.

Welcome to FOG!
I checked on Amazon and it looks like the Sys 2 size is 497852 and Sys 1 size is 497851.  I googled those numbers and it looks like most of the sites were European, so this may be one of those items not sold in the States.  If that is true, you can always buy from Amazon or from a Festool store that ships internationally.  Watch the sizes so you don't end up with a mini.

Thank you for the warm welcome  [smile]. I'll do another google search with your details and see how it goes.

Thank you for the Welcome!! I was at my local Woodcraft store this afternoon (picked up another MFT/3 while there and didn't know I needed one until I saw how shiny it was on their floor  [big grin]) and they were not able to find it in their system, so thank you for the tip! I'm now on the prowl.

There is a guy on Ebay that imports the systainers with the attic lid. Have purchased a few times from him and never an issue.

Thank you for the note. I did find them on Amazon and made a hefty purchase for them + other goodies.

A have 4 or 5 attic lid Systainers, I bought sysIIs from Lee Valley and transferred them to other size Systainers as needed.  I had air compressor accessories in Sys V that held my Senco compressor, keep blades for my Fein oscillator in another, various nut drivers, bits and counter sinks in one.  Have more but can't remember all.
